About Karen

My personal life journey led me to work as a Traditional Chinese Medicine practitioner. Starting during my teenage years while playing contact sports (downhill skiing and field hockey), my patella would pop out, causing great pain. Besides constant knee pain and instability, I was now restricted in my outdoor activities. In my early 20's after a day of walking, I had to elevate and ice my knees.
Yet often times our pain becomes our greatest teacher. This event lead me to my studies of acupuncture. Relief was found within my first month of receiving weekly acupuncture treatments.
